Beauty at Work
When you are very beautiful, attention is centered at you at work as well, no doubt about it. The boss stealthily peeps under your skirt (if he's of 'male' character that is), non-female colleagues look your way with admiration, they're all very interested in becoming your partner or giving you a helping hand or two if you are new.
Certainly, these things are very pleasant and, again, contribute to the fact that beauty is very helpful and is nothing but good almost in any sphere of a woman's life. You'll read a few lines regarding all possible 'ifs', 'buts' and even 'almosts' a bit later, now let's talk about the importance of being beautiful when you are about to being interviewed for work – in the beginning of your hardworking experience at a stable company that is.
Definitely, looks matter very much to your interviewer irrespective of him being a he or she excuse the paradoxically contradictive pun. Needless to say that if you're good looking your chances of passing an interview are much higher than if you are a chick who doesn't even take care of herself (especially if the interviewer is a man). Of course, your professional potential and skills matter much, but they say that your appearance is still 70% of your success at an interview for first impression is very vital no matter what.
A woman shouldn't think that it's enough for her to be supersmart at work, while the issue of her looks isn't that vitally important. For in our times being good-looking everywhere including your office is very important. Good-looking people make an impression of very trustworthy and reliable specialists because usually when you look great and when your knowledge of the sphere you're working at is equally excellent, you are a purely perfect combination of great looks and professionalism.
As you can see, the bright glamorous wrapping does matter when it's about modern way of life and work. That's why it's exquisitely important for a woman to look perfect nowadays – to keep fit, to take care of your shape, skin, clothes, make-up, scent, smile and all the 'constituent parts' of your beauty. In an ideal, they should represent a harmonious single whole without even a hint at disappointment after your brilliant personality and professional skills have been unwrapped and revealed to your interviewers, your colleagues or (potential) customers longing for mutually beneficial cooperation with the brilliant you.
However, it's high time we discussed ifs and buts of the whole situation. The thing is, when you are a beautiful and quite successful lady, you won't have any difficulties with your male colleagues most likely. Regarding your co-workers of the same sex, especially if they are neither very pretty nor too successful, some may treat you in a quite envious way. Female envy is not good at all, but oh well, beauty has its price too, just like anything in our highly material world.
